This is an app I helped conceive to give husbands a place to keep track of important information about their wives in an appealing way. More features will be added after launch. Coming soon to the app store. I handled most of the design and UI, collaborated on UX along with project management.
I've worked on many projects for white castle including: special box design, ads for Neiman Marcus, special event posters, and an ad campaign for Castle Shares charity.
I was hired to work as part of a team on a redesign of HP's Graphic Arts section of their website. In addition I worked on some graphics for Hewlett Packards various server initiatives, including a new consumer level home server product.

I was the design lead on this interactive tablet project for Ethicon Biosurgery, a division of Johnson & Johnson. We were tasked with helping medical reps present information in a non-linear way depending on the course of discussion with medical doctors. I helped develop the look and feel, ensured a consistent identity across a large team, worked on individual interactive pages, UI, UX, and design while adhering to strict legal requirements. PLEASE NOTE: due to the proprietary nature of this content, I can only show work that has been blurred or is not a final deliverable.
I illustrated and designed this infographic, turning stats and raw data into a visually compelling infographic for Nation Safe Boating's popular WEAR IT! campaign which promotes wearing life jackets while boating.
I worked on various promotional materials for National Adoption Day including website slides, promotional materials for various events, and an infographic.
I am a team player, and celebrating the accomplishments of others is just as important to me as achieving my own goals. I know when to lead and when to follow–there are appropriate times for both. Positive work environments produce better work, retain talent and improve quality of life, so I work to achieve this whenever I can.
Mike is one of the most engaging designers I've worked with. He's always open to brainstorm about a design challenge or discuss ways to push the team in new directions, and he brings a positive attitude to even the most stressful situations. Interacting with him on projects is sure to bring fresh creative ideas to the table! Kim Fisher, Chief Image Officer/Creative Director
Mike is the guy you want on your design team. He loves to twist data and ideas around, squeezing every last possibility out of them until he's positive he's found the most creative and fresh concept out there. Then he'll take those concepts and execute them flawlessly, making sure everything is perfect, down to the last pixel. He's known for his icon design and data visualization skills, which are always a combination of his great analytical and design skills. Mike is also easily one of the most humble people I've ever met, and is never overly-competitive; he's the kind of guy who will push his team to do better, not just himself. And he's an absolute riot to have around at the office. I'm always happy to hear I'll be working with him, because I know I'm getting to work with a great guy who will make sure our designs are top-notch, and I'll have fun doing it. Sara Howes, PMP, CSPO
